Jim Katterfield recently joined the Island Country Club team in January 2019 and comes to us with more than 40 years of experience, most recently serving as the Director of Tennis at The Club at The Strand in Naples, Florida. Throughout his career, Jim has served as Director of Tennis in several Tennis and Country Clubs in both Massachusetts and Florida, where he has facilitated private lessons, group clinics, active Interclub programs and managed Pro Shop accounts with vendors. James’ recent accomplishments include being named USPTA District Pro of the Year in 2006 and 2009, as well as holding the title of Southwest Florida Pro-League Commissioner from 2008-2013. James received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from University of Northern Colorado, where he attended on a full athletic scholarship.
